Role in Project

Fondazione Ca' Foscari (FCF) is affiliated partner of the Ca' Foscari University and supports its activities in WP1, WP2, and WP3, from the preliminary design of the flagship plant, including flow sheets, mass and energy balances, and equipment sizing, to the evaluation of its performance in terms of sustainability. It also covers the definition of process parameters, control systems, and integration with existing facilities. Additionally, support is given for preparing the full set of engineering documents required for procurement, construction, and commissioning of the PHA production line. WP2 focuses on data analysis during both start-up and long-term plant operation phases. The support in WP5 is addressed on LCSA and the SSbD framework.

Organization Description

Fondazione Università Ca' Foscari pursues its mission in the field of Ca' Foscari University's "Third Mission" through an integrated and interdisciplinary offering that includes knowledge transfer projects, Master's and Higher education courses, organization of cultural activities and events, and Open Access publishing for the free dissemination of research results. The goal is to contribute to the sustainable and responsible growth of the territory and of the communities in which it operates.
